Floral Group Shoot with Hannah Lou and JDC Creations

  • High key flowers and ladders

High key photography emphasises bright lighting and soft contrasts, making it an ideal choice for capturing the delicate beauty of flowers and model.

Background and Lighting : A light-coloured backdrop to enhance the high key effect. Diffused lighting to keep a soft lighting feel.

Flowers: A variety of flowers with soft pastel colours to avoid overwhelming the composition and keep focus on Hannah.

Ladder Placement :A sturdy ladder placed at an angle using the rungs to display flowers or props at various heights, creating layers in the composition.

Makeup and outfit: Soft pastel petals around the eye to compliment the flower tones in the scene. A long flowing dress will compliment.

  • Dark and moody swing set

A darker and moodier swing set using large plants and deep greens and browns.

Low Light Setup: Using low, diffused lighting to create shadows and depth at angles to enhance textures and create a dramatic effect.

Swing : The swing in a central or slightly off-centre location within the frame will interact with the plants in the scene, perhaps having vines or leaves draping over the swing for an organic touch.

Background : A dark brown textured backdrop to create a dramatic contrast against the swing and plants.

Makeup and outfit: Soft petals around the eyes and a touch of dark green to enhance Hannah’s eyes. Green trousers and white crop top.

  • Floral chairs

Floral chairs can serve as a captivating focal point in a photoshoot, adding a touch of elegance and charm.

Lighting: Using high key lighting with grids allows for more control to highlight the chair and Hannah.

Chairs: 2 different textured chairs which help to frame Hannah and provide texture and contrast to the scene.

Flowers: Lots of floral garlands, florals in jugs and vases will compliment the wood of the chairs and help create a pretty scene with Hannah the focus.

Makeup and outfit: Lots of petals around both eyes to enhance and highlight the floral arrangements. Perfect for full length and tighter headshots. Long single tone dresses.
